In the present dashboards, the results on the H2020 initiative in the context of the Barcelona Convention (UNEP MAP) are presented for all the ENI SEIS South countries at their different levels. Countries deliveries following the H2020 data call are accessible via the Hex Map for the 3 thematic areas waste, water, industrial emissions.

H2020 Dataflow assessment: for each country it is possible via the dedicated dashboard Failing files to monitor the reporting status and assess the capacity of the country to report. Indicators are accessible by thematic according to the following list:

  • Waste: The 1st indicator covers: Municipal Waste Generation and it is articulated around 4 subindicators: IND 1.A Municipal waste composition, IND 1.B Plastic waste generation per capita, IND 1.C % of population living in Coastal Areas and IND 1.D % of Tourists in Coastal Areas. The 2nd indicator is “Hardware” of waste management and it is articulated around 3 subindicators: IND 2.A Waste Collection, IND 2.B Environmental Control and IND 2.C Resource Recovery.

  • Water: The 3rd indicator covers: Access to Sanitation and it is articulated around 2 subindicators: 3.1 Share of total, urban and rural population with access to an improved sanitation system (ISS) and 3.2 Proportion of population using safely managed sanitation services (SMSS). The 4th indicator covers the Volume of wastewater and it is articulated around 3 subindicators: IND 4.1 Municipal wastewater collected and wastewater treated, IND4.2 Direct use of treated municipal wastewater, IND 4.3 Release of nutrients from municipal effluents. The 5th indicator covers the Coastal and Marine Water Quality is articulated around 2 subindicators: IND 5.1 Nutrient concentrations in transitional, coastal and marine waters and IND5.2 Bathing water quality.

  • Industrial emissions: the 6th indicators Industrial emissions is articulated around 4 subindicators IND 6.1 Release of nutrients from industrial sectors, IND 6.2 Release of toxic substances from industrial sectors, IND 6.3 Industrial hazardous waste disposed in environmentally sound manner and IND 6.4 Compliance measures aiming at the reduction and/or elimination of pollutants generated by industrial sectors.
