Surface water bodies: Chemical exemptions [table]

The Water Framework Directive (WFD) allows for exemptions from achieving good chemical or ecological status under specific conditions. This dashboard provides a detailed table of chemical exemptions applied to surface water bodies. Data can be explored for the 2nd and 3rd River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) cycles. Filters are available to display information by country, including individual countries, the EU-27, or all reporting countries, as well as by exemption types and categories and priority substances.
