The dashboard shows the ecological status or potential of surface water bodies, by type of intercalibration. Several filters allow the user to explore the data for the 1st, 2nd second and 3rd cycle of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) - River Basin Management Plan (RBMP). It is possible to select and display  data from one or more countries, the EU-27 or "All" reporting countries.

The chart of the 3rd River Basin Management Plans shows the data of Countries that so far have reported electronically to the EEA for this third cycle and included in the "EU-27": Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.

Norway has also reported.
