The dashboard shows the number of quality elements, by water body categoy, reported by European Countries, for 1st, 2nd second and 3rd cycle of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) - River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) and used in the assessment of the surface water bodies ecological status or potential.

The chart of the 3rd River Basin Management Plans shows the data of Countries that so far have reported electronically to the EEA for this third cycle and included in the "EU-27": Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.

Norway has also reported.
