Surface water bodies: Quality element exemptions [overview table]

The Water Framework Directive (WFD) allows for exemptions from achieving good ecological status under specific conditions. This dashboard provides an overview table of quality elements exemptions applied to surface water bodies. Data can be explored for the 2nd and 3rd River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) cycles. Filters are available to display information by country, including individual countries, the EU-27, or all reporting countries, as well as by exemption types and categories.
