De introductie van energie, inclusief onderwatergeluid, vindt plaats op niveaus die geen nadelige invloed hebben op het mariene milieu.
- De ruimtelijke spreiding, de temporele omvang en het niveau van bronnen van antropogeen impulsief geluid zijn niet hoger dan de niveaus waarop populaties zeedieren schade wordt berokkend. - Het niveau van antropogene impulsgeluidbronnen, genormaliseerd op 750 m van de bron, is niet hoger dan 162 dB re 1µPa2s (uitgedrukt in SELss). When LOBE defined: For short-term exposure (1 day, i.e., daily exposure), the maximum proportion of an assessment/habitat area utilised by a species of interest that is accepted to be exposed to impulsive noise levels higher than the Level of Onset of Biologically adverse Effects (LOBE), over 1 day, is 20 % or lower (≤ 20 %). For long-term exposure (1 year), the average exposure is calculated. The maximum proportion of an assessment/habitat area utilised by a species of interest that is accepted to be exposed to impulsive noise levels higher than LOBE, over 1 year on average, is 10 % or lower (≤ 10 %).
- De ruimtelijke spreiding, de temporele omvang en het niveau van antropogeen continu laagfrequent geluid zijn niet hoger dan de niveaus waarop populaties zeedieren schade wordt berokkend. - Het jaargemiddelde van antropogeen continu laagfrequent geluid binnen de 1/3 octaafbanden 63 en 125 Hz, gemeten op één locatie, blijft gelijk of neemt af. When LOBE defined: 20 % of the target species habitat having noise levels above LOBE not to be exceeded in any month of the assessment year, in agreement with the conservation objective of the 80 % of the carrying capacity/habitat size.
