Description overall status |
De goede milieutoestand in het Belgische deel van de Noordzee wordt beoordeeld aan de hand van het aantal nieuwe introducties van macrofaunale en -florale soorten (>1 mm) die het ecosysteem kunnen veranderen. In de periode 2016-2021 werden twee nieuwe geïntroduceerde niet-inheemse soorten gerapporteerd, wat betekent dat de goede toestand niet wordt bereikt aangezien het doel is om geen nieuwe introducties te hebben. Tussen 2011 en 2016 zijn er acht nieuwe, niet-inheemse, geïntroduceerde soorten gemeld voor het BNZ. Het aantal nieuwe geïntroduceerde niet-inheemse soorten blijft dus toenemen, zij het in een langzamer tempo.
