Target description
Emissions of contaminants generally do not lead to exceeding of the maximum residue levels applicable in the food legislation for seafood.
The trend in total Danish dioxin emissions into the air is not increasing.
The Danish Environmental Protection Agency is monitoring developments in relation to emissions of POPs (including dioxins) from wood-burning stoves to assess the need for further initiatives. (Operational target)
The Danish Environmental Protection Agency is gradually improving emission estimations of POPs into the air. (Operational target)
The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration is inspecting concentrations of contaminants, particularly dioxins and PCBs in order to monitor developments in organisms at risk of containing high concentrations. (Operational target)
