Justification description
Several current measures, such as fishing restrictions and restoration measures in spawning rivers, will not have a sufficient impact on the status of trout in the twelve rivers included in the status assessment by 2027. In addition, migration barriers are a problem for those not included in the assessment. There is no binding timetable for removing obstacles to migration, although action is being taken on an ongoing basis. Some wild trout stocks are expected to reach good status by 2035, but not all stocks
