Method used
Good status is defined qualitatively for each of the evaluation criteria and qualitative targets are also set for each criterion. A good status limit (s), which can be either quantitative or qualitative, is set for hot indicators, unless quantitative values can be scientifically set.

Description [Targets]
Commercial fisheries targeting herring, sprat and cod stocks are organised in such a way that the fishing mortality rate (F) on the stock level does not exceed Fmsy.
Herring, sprat and cod: Indicator on the fishing mortality rate (F)
Their share of all stocks subject to a regular stock assessment, for which fisheries are fished, based on the MSY principle.
Salmon: Current implementation of the migration buoy production as a proportion of existing nursery potential
Spawning stock size for herring and sprat segments
The size distribution and the average length of the spawning rivers in the Bothnian Sea. At an early stage, the aim is to get the trends stopped
The degree of maturity of litter, whitefish and perch and the proportion of mature fish (Reproductive capacity of fish populations)
