Method used
Good status is defined qualitatively for each of the evaluation criteria and qualitative targets are also set for each criterion. A good status limit (s), which can be either quantitative or qualitative, is set for hot indicators, unless quantitative values can be scientifically set.

Description [Targets]
The levels of persistent organic pollutants and other harmful substances are below the quality standards laid down in the Regulation on hazardous substances. Furthermore, the concentrations of heavy metals in water, sediment and organisms are close to the natural background, and the oil and chemical releases do not lead to changes in the concentration of noxious substances
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers in fish (congener patterns tri-BDE 28, tetraBDE 47, pentaBDE 99 and 100, hexaBDE, decaBDE, decaBDE)
