Justification description
It is possible that brominated flame retardants (PBDEs) will not be in good condition by 2027. These are slowly degrading in the environment and there are no significant external sources of pollution. Based on the measured trends, it can be estimated that PBDE concentrations in herring may reach good status before 2030.
