Reduce physical disturbance to subtidal and circalittoral sedimentary habitats, particularly in the 3-mile zone.
Maintaining a sustainable level of exploitation of red coral under influence of professional fishing in deep sea diving. EO covering the whole of the MED facade, but focusing in particular on: - Continental Mediterranean - Corsica.
Avoid the physical disturbance of Mediterranean seagrass beds and coralligenous (by means of anchoring, diving in the water and bottom fishing gears)

Avoid abrasion and smothering of the most representative areas of deep habitats (Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems*) and reduce the abrasion of particular geomorphological structures**: * Definition of Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems based on..:- the IFREMER proposal for France transmitted to ICES (for the Atlantic and the Channel), - the identification of vulnerable marine ecosystems carried out within the framework of the United Nations Environment Programme's Mediterranean Obscure Habitats Action Plan (for the Mediterranean) ** Structures defined during the identification phase of the issues for the implementation of the DCSMM The map of VMEs and specific geomorphological structures can be found in the Environmental Objectives sheet.

Restoring small coastal funds with an impairment of the ecological functions (specific MED)
Restoring small coastal funds with an impairment of the ecological functions (specific MED)

Maintaining or restoring biodiversity and the functioning of coastal fund ecosystems (medio, infra and circalittoral)
Maintaining a good etat of conservation of the deep habitats of the submarine canyons
Ensuring the hosting potentials of the marine environment for birds: Power supply, rest, reproduction, deplacements

The environmental objective is abandoned as it does not correspond to the definition of an environmental target for the second cycle. It is too general, it is not intended to reduce a clearly identified pressure and does not have an indicator enabling it to be assessed.
