La maggioranza delle specie di uccelli marini elencate nella Direttiva Uccelli e nel protocollo SPA/BD della Convenzione di Barcellona mantiene o consegue uno stato di conservazione quantitativamente compatibile con il raggiungimento del GES in ciascuna sotto regione, sia per le specie nidificanti, sia per quelle svernanti o in fase post-riproduttiva. Per ciascun gruppo si considera raggiunto il target se si supera la soglia del 75% delle specie.
