Target description
Tende a diminuire il numero/quantità dei rifiuti marini presenti sui litorali, nello strato superficiale della colonna d’acqua, sul fondo marino ed è ridotto il tasso di incremento dei microrifiuti nello strato superficiale della colonna d’acqua riducendo l’immissione ed aumentando la raccolta di rifiuti a mare e sui litorali.
È decrescente la tendenza nella quantità dei rifiuti ingeriti dagli animali marini.
Sono ridotte le lacune conoscitive sull’origine, stato, composizione, dispersione e impatti dei rifiuti in mare attraverso l’incremento di programmi di indagine.
