Considering single samples, for each contaminant group (including the substance identified in the relevant national and international legislation), the index proposed for the GES may also assume the value of zero. Referring to the AA, the Target is reached when at least 70% of the surface covered by data complies with the conditions above. When these latter are satisfied for all the AAs of the sub region, the GES is reached in the whole sub region |
