Target description |
Response systems shall be implemented by the competent authorities following reports of invasive species in port areas and in areas intended for aquaculture.
|
Knowledge gaps on major introduction routes and vectors are reduced.
|
By 2020, all ports and class 2 class 1 terminals shall be equipped with an early warning system for timely detection of the presence of invasive non-indigenous species and early warning to competent authorities.
|
The traceability systems of all imports, translocations, and movements of non-indigenous species into aquaculture facilities, as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 708/2007, as amended, shall be implemented.
