Kadangi D4 deskriprius (Mitybos tinklai) apima skirtingoms mitybos grandims priklausančias organizmų grupes ir rūšis, tai šio kokybinio deskriptoriaus rodikliai persidengia su 1-uoju Bioįvairovės (pelaginės buveinės) kokybiniu deskriptoriumi (D1P).
