Measure name
Develop requirements for recording and reducing pulsed noise in the marine environment, including ecologically sensitive areas, fish spawning grounds of interest and areas of interest for mammals.
Consider supplementing the State Environmental Monitoring Programme with a part dedicated to monitoring underwater noise in Lithuanian marine waters in order to assess the status of the marine environment in relation to the GES criteria and to ensure monitoring.
Establish procedures for recording underwater pulse noises and for providing those data to the Underwater Pulse Noise Register managed by the International Service for the Exploration of the Sea.
