In the International North Sea, a recovery is taking place within the bottom fishing community.
Only in the northern part of the Celtic Sea, however, the target values for recovery are met.
Target values that are not yet met in various individual survey assessments can, according to recent recovery trends, be achieved by the year 2022 provided that the current level of threat does not increase further. There is no recovery yet in the Southern North Sea.
