Although the loss per habitat type has not been calculated, it seems unlikely that there is a significant loss for a habitat type. The part of the North Sea where the disturbance occurs consists largely of sandy soils, which is also the habitat with the largest surface. The original habitat is in all cases replaced by hard substrate.

No calculation has been made on loss per habitat type. For the reporting, Circalittoral sand has been used as it appears most in the Dutch North Sea.
There has been no significant loss of the natural seabed since 2012. Loss of natural seabed since 2012, 0.55 km² is 0.001 % of the Dutch North Sea (58.000 km²).
