Fishing mortality rate has been assessed based on ICES advice. F1/Fmsy ratio based on SPiCT model has been exceeding 1 since 2012. This leads to the conclusion on to high fishing pressure on the stock.
Spawning stock biomass has been assessed based on ICES advice. B1/Bmsy ratio based on SPiCT model has been below 1 since 2013. This leads to the conclusion on to high fishing pressure on the stock.
95 percentile of length distribution decreased from 44 cm in 2011-2012 to 40 cm in 2013-2014. Current status is 43 cm. Recent increase in the index value may be caused by decrease of small fish index (below 30 cm) which may suggest that the recruitment has been poor during last 3 years. Due to decreasing condition and growth rate of cod also the L50 value decreases from 40 cm in 1991 to 20 cm in 2016.
Laverage/Lf=m ratio is higher than the reference point indicating that fishing pressure is within limits.
Biomass index is increasing since 2012.
95 percentile of length distribution decreased from 35 cm in 2011-2012 to 31 cm in 2014-2015. Current status is 32 cm.
During assessment period 2011-2016 fishing mortality of sprat 22-32 has been decreasing. 2016 was the only year when fishing mortality of sprat achieved GES. The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
95 percentile of length distribution is stable and achieve 13.5-14 cm.

Description parameter
Fishing mortality rate has been assessed based on ICES advice. F1/Fmsy ratio based on SPiCT model has been exceeding 1 value since 2012. This leads to the conclusion on to high fishing pressure on the stock.

Description criteria
The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
95 percentile of length distribution is 21.5-22.5 cm.
95 percentile of length distribution decreased from 44 cm in 2011-2012 to 40 in 2013-2014. Current status is 43.
During assessment period 2011-2016 fishing mortality of sprat 22-32 has been decreasing. 2016 was the only year when fishing mortality of sprat achieved GES.The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
The final assessment values reflect the state in 2016.
95 percentile of length distribution is stable and achieve 13.5-14 cm.
