Caso existam sinais contraditórios em algum grupos tróficos, mas a evolução da proporção de peixes grandes (LFI) e o comprimento típico (TyL) for favorável (tendência crescente ou estável) e não houver sinais de deterioração da produtividade do sistema global considera-se que o BEA é atingido
