Target assessment description
Mantém-se o objetivo de avaliar o risco para os mamíferos marinhos, previstos anteriormente pelas metas estabelecidas em 2020, Meta-Azo18 e D11-AZO-M1, na implementação de um plano para o ruído submarino, previsto na meta nacional D11.PT.M1.
Foram desenvolvidos os trabalhos iniciais de identificação dos recursos e dispositivos necessários. Foram desenvolvidos os trabalhos no contexto da implementação da SIC cetáceos.
As metas definidas em 2018 com o propósito de "desenvolver e implementar metodologia adequadas, de modo a obter informação, para permitir avaliar o BEA até 2024", foram integradas na meta nacional de forma a garantir uma uniformização de metodologias, a nível nacional, que permitam obter dados comparáveis entre as 3 subdivisões.
Já foram identificados os locais pertinentes para a monitorização, nomeadamente no mar territorial e nas águas oceânicas da subdivisão da Madeira.
