Target description
Implementar um programa para monitorização de contaminantes em peixes, crustáceos e moluscos de interesse comercial e de elevado consumo na região, na subdivisão dos Açores, de acordo com a legislação relevante.
Assegurar que a lista de contaminantes marinhos a avaliar inclua todos os contaminantes relevantes conhecidos para a subdivisão Açores, como por exemplo, o arsénio.

Conhecer o processo de bioacessibilidade dos metais pesados no consumidor através da avaliação do impacto dos processos culinários.
Identificar espécies indicadoras para a matriz biota e estabelecer valores de referência

Assegurar que a lista de contaminantes marinhos a avaliar inclua todos os contaminantes relevantes conhecidos para a subdivisão Açores, como por exemplo, o arsénio.
Conhecer o processo de bioacessibilidade dos metais pesados no consumidor através da avaliação do impacto dos processos culinários.
As metas definidas em 2018 com o propósito de "desenvolver e implementar metodologia adequadas, de modo a obter informação, para permitir avaliar o BEA até 2024", foram integradas na meta nacional de forma a garantir uma uniformização de metodologias, a nível nacional, que permitam obter dados comparáveis entre as 3 subdivisões.
Já foram identificados os locais pertinentes para a monitorização, nomeadamente no mar territorial e nas águas oceânicas da subdivisão da Madeira.
