Measure description |
The measure refers to the human activities in the marine environment mentioned/listed in art. 8 of Directive 2014/89/EU establishing a framework for maritime spatial planning. The measure does not cover military activities. The measure implementation involves preparatory activities for amending/adapting national legislation if necessary, public and sectoral consultations, and legislation adaptation. |
Measure developed as a coordinated measure between Romania and Bulgaria within the project ""Technical and administrative support for the joint implementation of the Framework Directive ""Strategy for the Marine Environment"" in Bulgaria and Romania – Phase 2""
The measure aims to develop eco-labelling schemes to promote sustainable aquaculture and to combine elements of market and industry with environmental interests and communities. |
