The integration of phytoplankton is based on two indicators describing the taxonomic composition of the phytoplankton. However, the cyanobacterial bloom indicator only describes a part of the community, which is why the indicator (5.3A) was given a lower weight. Integration rule for the eutrophication indicators under D5C2 and D5C4 (5.2A,B and 5.4A,B) for risk assessment, follows same method as for the assessment of D5. The definition is described in the ART.9GES-Schema.
