E.2 Mänskliga verksamheter ska inte orsaka skadligt impulsivt ljud i marina däggdjurs utbredningsområden under tidsperioder då djuren är känsliga för störning. E.2 Human activities should not cause harmful impulse noise in the distribution areas for marine mammals during periods when the animals are sensitive to disturbance. Modification 2025: The aim of the target is expandes to also include fish and has changed focused to temporary or permanent heaaring loss. This can be done because of the introduction of the new target E.3.
E.3 Mänskliga verksamheter ska inte orsaka impulsivt ljud som utsätter havsmiljön för bullernivåer som förhindrar att god miljöstatus kan upprätthållas eller nås.
