Target description
Develop methods and approach to underwater noise management at national level.
Regulate sectors or activities that emit pulsed noise with the objective of reducing the entry of underwater noise (e.g. through the use of mitigation measures or alternative means of construction). The pressure on impulsive noise (the “pulse-block days indicator”) displays a stable or negative trend.
Regulate sectors or activities that emit continuous noise with the objective of reducing underwater noise input. Pressure on continuous noise (Leq, 63 Hz and Leq, 125 Hz) show a stable or negative trend.
