We have taken into account the principle of the Water Directive, we have determined the reference conditions and divided the values into five bands (in principle as an expert opinion) in the area of the least red area. The boundary for GES is the boundary between good and moderate class.

Description [Targets]
Do leta 2018 je treba zmanjšati umrljivost rib na nivo, ko bo zagotovljena trajnostna raba. Povezani cilji: Stalež morskega lista (Solea solea) je v prelovu, zaradi česar se priporoča znižanje F, posebno z uporabo strgač. Dvomesečna prepoved ribolova s strgačami v pasu 11 km od italijanske obale; po lovopustu zmanjšanje nedoraslih osebkov v ulovu. Stalež sardele (Sardina pilchardus) je v celoti izkoriščen, zaradi česar se ribolovni napor ne bi smel povečevati. Upoštevati je potrebno tudi interakcijo z ribolovom na sardona.
