In this sense, a status assessment as good / not good is not required. If possible, only the total area affected by hydrographic changes due to new infrastructures is indicated. During the reference period, there is no record of the creation of additional large marine infrastructures, such as port areas or new thermal power plants. It is therefore assumed that the extent of affected areas and the interference with habitats is maintained at values ​​close to those determined in the initial evaluation documents of the first cycle of marine strategies. Therefore, as no habitats at risk have been identified due to permanent alteration of hydrographic conditions, it is not necessary to evaluate criteria D7C1 and D7C2.
