Target description
Adapt fishing mortality on forage species* so as to favour the maintenance of trophic resources necessary for large predators** *The forage fish concerned are: Channel Sea - North Sea, North Atlantic - Western Channel: herring, sandeels, sprats, sardines, mackerel, anchovy, horse mackerel South Atlantic: herring, sandeels, sprats, sardines, mackerel, anchovy, horse mackerel ** The large predators considered are seabirds, marine mammals and predatory fish.
Maintain a zero level of sampling on oceanic micro-nekton (especially Krill, and myctophidae or lantern fish...)
Preserve areas with little or no impact from eutrophication
