The marine waters were delineated according to OU 71/2010 which transpose into national law the provisions of MSFD. Coastal waters and transitional waters were delineated according to WFD. For both of them, the landward boundary is represented by the shoreline and the offshore limit is represented by the 1 NM line.

Bad comunication. Last year RO and BG met twice to set up the activity to perform the obligations under MSFD. The meetings have been held in Varna and Bucharest. Ro and BG acts under the Agreement between Ministry of Env and Water of BG and Ministry of Env and Water Management related to cooperation in water managemnt field. At the beginning of November Ro will organize a meeting in Constanta, Romania, to activate the working group. So we ask BG collegues to invite the experts for all descriptors to assure the coordination regarding the implementation MSFD.
