To reduce the volume of direct or indirect discharges without appropriate treatment (industrial discharges, waste water, run-off from rivers, run-off, etc.) to the marine environment, as well as to improve the efficiency of sewage treatment stations and sewerage systems in order to minimise the input of litter, pollutants and nutrients to the marine environment. In the second cycle, the object was split in 4: B.N.3.Reducing nutrient inputs, pollutants and litter from river discharges. B.N.4.Reducing nutrient inputs, pollutants and garbage from waste water.
