Target description
Reduce incidental catches of seabirds* (off shore and near colonies), and in particular reduce the incidental catches of the most vulnerable species such as Balearic Shearwaters, Yelkouan Shearwaters and Ash Shearwaters by longlines, set nets and small pelagic seines * cf. seabird species listed in the GES Decision
Prevent collisions of seabirds with offshore infrastructure, including wind farms (application of the avoid, reduce, compensate sequence)
Avoid loss of functional habitats for seabirds*, in particular in marine areas where the density is maximum * Cf seabird species listed in the GES Decision
Reduce the pressure exerted by certain introduced and domestic species on seabird breeding sites* * Cf seabird species listed in the GES Decision
Reduce the pressure exerted by certain introduced and domestic species on seabird breeding sites* * Cf seabird species listed in the GES Decision
Maintain or restore functional seabird habitats* in coastal wetlands The map of functional seabird habitats will be drawn up as part of the Facade Strategic Document (Document Strategique de Facade) action plan * cf. seabird species listed in the GES Decision.
Limit the physical, noise and light disturbance of seabirds* at the level of their functional habitat areas * Cf. seabird species listed in the GES Decision.

Avoiding or adapting the removal from the public maritime domain of species identified under the International Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) and threatened at European level
Conserve or protect species and habitats by enhancing the coherence, representativeness and effectiveness of the network of marine protected areas
Preserve or protect species habitats and habitats by maintaining or restoring their functionality and sea-land connectivity
Conserve or protect species by reducing incidental catch rates
Preserve or protect species and habitats by giving them an appropriate protection status
Maintain or achieve the good conservation status of species and habitats of community interest
Protecting rare or endangered species and habitats
Ensuring the continued functional role of key habitats and species
Sustainably preserve common species and habitats across the marine sub-region (including their functionalities) / Preserve the structure and functioning of food webs, taking into account their dynamics.

Target assessment description
target: Defined, concerted and adopted on the façade simultaneously with the action plan of the Facade Strategic Document (Document Stratégique de Façade) and the mapping of functional habitats.
target: 100% of projects authorised as of the adoption of the seafront strategy
Target: No increase in the artificial surface following the application of the "avoid-reduce-compensate" sequence" * from the adoption of the seafront strategy. * In application of article L163-1 of the Environmental Code provides for an absence of net loss of biodiversity, after application of the "avoid-reduce-compensate" sequence
target: Defined, concerted and adopted at the same time as the Maritime Basin Strategic Document (Document Stratégique de Façade) action plan.
target: Significant decrease
target: Defined, concerted and adopted on the façade simultaneously with the action plan of the Facade Strategic Document (Document Stratégique de Façade) and the mapping of functional habitats.
target: Defined and concerted on the façade as part of measure M003, and adopted at the same time as the Facade Strategic Document (Document Stategique de Facade) action plan.
Target: Decrease with respect to the values that will be calculated starting in 2018 on sites applying the protocol developed by the association Natural Reserves of France.
target: No high-stake or major colony
target: 100%
The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it does not aim to reduce a well-identified pressure.

The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it does not aim to reduce a well-identified pressure. It is replaced in the second cycle by the environmental objectives D01-MT-OE02 and D01-OM-OE01.
The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it does not aim to reduce a well-identified pressure.
The environmental objective is abandoned as it does not correspond to the definition of an environmental target for the second cycle. It is too general, it is not intended to reduce a clearly identified pressure and does not have an indicator enabling it to be assessed.
