Do not increase nutrient inputs to areas with little or no impact from eutrophication
Reduce inputs of atmospheric nitrogen (Nox) at the national level
To preserve areas with little or no impact from eutrophication by limiting land-based nutrient inputs at source and during their transfer in the catchment areas concerned.
To identify areas of known eutrophication and the catchment areas that contribute most to the main nutrient inputs from the source to the outflow.
Reducing or eliminating nutrient inputs, with priority to the highest contributing watersheds, by addressing on-farm, urban and industrial emissions and nutrient transfer.
Reduce atmospheric nitrogen (Nox) inputs by taking into account the challenges of the marine environment in air pollution control plans, regional climate, air and energy plans and the Air Protection Plans of the most heavily contributing regions.
Preserve areas with little or no impact from eutrophication
Significantly reduce excessive nutrient inputs to the marine environment

The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it is not intended to reduce a well-identified pressure. It is replaced in the second cycle by environmental objectives D05-OE01, D05-OE02 and D05-OE03.
The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it does not aim to reduce a well-identified pressure.

The environmental objective is dropped as it does not correspond to the definition of a second cycle environmental objective. Indeed, it is not intended to reduce a well-identified pressure. It is replaced in the second cycle by the environmental objective D05-OE04.
The environmental objective is abandoned as it does not correspond to the definition of an environmental target for the second cycle. It is too general, it is not intended to reduce a clearly identified pressure and does not have an indicator enabling it to be assessed.
