In all sub-basins the same approach for setting targets was applied. For all indicators 5-class classification scales were developed, similarly to FWD approach of high, good, moderate, poor and bad status. Description [Targets] |
The target is to maintain the populations of commercially exploited Fish and shellfish in the safe biological boundaries corresponding to the natural conditions. The target is achieved by reducing the anthropogenic pressures by setting up catch limits that will ensure achievement of maximal sustainable catch of exploited species. |
