Se presentan individualmente los parámetros con el grado de cumplimiento de los criterios ambientales o valores umbral definidos para su toxicidad. Se establece un valor umbral para la proporción de casos que deberían estar por debajo del T1, que permita establecer si se alcanza o no el BEA para una demarcación. Al igual que en la evaluación inicial de 2012 se propone utilizar un valor umbral inicial del 95% casos sin riesgo (< T1) para cada uno de los indicadores utilizados por separado. Los resultados de distintos contaminantes se han integrado por matriz, es decir considerando los datos medidos en agua, mejillón, peces o sedimento. Así, se presentan individualmente con el grado de cumplimiento de los criterios ambientales o valores umbral definidos para su toxicidad en cada una de estas matrices. Se establece un valor umbral para la proporción de casos que deberían estar por debajo del T1 (sin riesgo), que permita establecer si se alcanza o no el BEA para una demarcación. Assessment Methodology not defined. Data collected by the DFMR was analyzed using the approach outlined during the Initial Assessment (DFMR 2012; Argyrou et al. 2012) to document the presence and magnitude of metal concentrations in sediments. Indicators and targets were set for lead, cadmium and mercury during the 2014 revision. The results of this analysis indicate that Cyprus waters are in GES with respect to metals in sediments. |
