Integration rule description for parameters
In a single year assessment of each indicator the rule OOAO was applied straightforward, i.e. if a single indicator was assessed subGES, the entire annual assessment was subGES. In the case of multiyear (2011-2016) assessment, GES was assessed if all the annual results of indicators were GES or only less than 20% of results were subGES. If more than 20% of annual results of indicators were in subGES status, the overall assessment was subGES.
It has not been possible to do cross-species integration.
Only one species has been studied within this GES component. It has not been possible to make integration across other species.

Integration rule description for criteria
The assessment of the criteria was derived from the partial evaluations of the species evaluation under the Habitats Directive.
It has only been possible to integrate across D2, D4 and D5 for one species. It has not been possible to make an integration for D1 and D3.
GES defined as: When the threshold values for all indicators of each species under all relevant criteria are achieved in the assessment area.
GES defined as: When the threshold values for all indicators of each species under relevant criteria are achieved in the assessment area.
