D3C1-D3C3: It is necessary to reduce the mortality of the stocks in the region and in the subregion for commercial fishing to a level that ensures sustainable use. It is necessary to reduce fishing effort for all species found (by research) or determined to have a reduced reproductive capacity or population composition in terms of age and size, at the level of the region and the region.
D3T2: a) Demersal fish: Demographic structure remains unchanged. b) Pelagic fish- anchovy: Demographic structure, sex ratio and fecundity remain more or less stable over time. c) Pelagic fish- sardine: Demographic structure, sex ratio and fecundity remain more or less stable over time. d) Coastal fish: Long-term stability of composition, biomass indices and length structure of targeted species. e) Shellfish: Demographic structure of targeted species remains more or less stable over time.
D3T1: a) Demersal fish: Long-term stability of distribution, biomass and abundance of targeted species on the assessment area. b) Demersal fish: Long-term stability of demersal communities on the assessment area. c) Pelagic fish- anchovy: Long-term stability of anchovy egg and larval abundance. d) Shellfish: Long-term stability of targeted species biomass indices.
Target2: Target 2: Populations of all commercially exploited fish and shellfish should approach safe biological limits, exhibiting a population age and size distribution that is indicative of a healthy stock. All ICES, ICCAT, and GFCM recommendations in that direction will be followed, within the framework of the European Common Fisheries Policy.
